Update: The Inaugural Dinner and Conference of the Jack F. Kemp
Institute for Political Economy
Pepperdine University had planned for some time to launch the
Jack F. Kemp Institute on May 13, 2009, following Secretary
Kemp's announcement, in 2007, that he would place at Pepperdine
his extensive papers and many mementos of a 40-year career in
public service. Due to Secretary Kemp's death on May 2, and in
consultation with the Kemp family, the University has postponed
the inaugural dinner and conference to October 21, 2009, and
joins a host of friends and associates of Secretary Kemp in
offering our sincerest sympathy to his family. Please visit the
Kemp Institute Web site for forthcoming information.
